DEDICATION

This website exists in honor of all the friends, family and both knowing and unknowing supporters who kept us going throughout the medley of incarnations of this band and those before it.  This thing that began in the streets, living rooms and basements of the Bronx in the 60’s and managed to continue throughout the 70’s and that raucous and head-spinning time of the 80’s has rewarded us with several lifetimes worth of fun, friendships, and fulfillment well beyond all expectations.

We established a wide and talented network of musicians who played together in numerous configurations and provided us with endless amounts of enjoyment and memories that will last forever.

We’d like to dedicate these memories to two of the most talented, good-natured and above all, kind musicians each of us is lucky to have known and grown to appreciate more and more over the years- John Smith and Don Parker.  We miss their friendship and kindhearted presence in our lives every day.

We’d also like to honor all our ex-members who have helped to broaden our musical horizons over the years.  Two of these have passed on, brothers Steve and Mark Bannen.  Steve was a talented bass player and songwriter who influenced us in many indelible ways.  Mark was a distinctive drummer and was an original member of both Bluebelly in 1970 and The Resistors in 1981.

We also can’t forget to include a few others.  Pat Rafferty was our drummer throughout the 70’s and provided the beat for many memorable places and times. His entire family held a special place for us during our younger years.  Paul Choma was always ready to expertly fill in the seat behind the kit whenever we needed his help.

We’d also thank all the musicians and friends we have collaborated with over the years and who have always been more than a gift to team up with from time to time: Greg, Larry, Gene, Benny, and many others in addition to our supporters who have provided us with the backing and encouragement to keep pushing ourselves through our musical passage: Phil, Andy, Willy, Ernie, Teresa, Joan, Susie, Patty, Ruth, Sheila, Ellen, jill, Ida, Susan, Gina, helen, angela, lourdes, patrice, louise, carol, moogy, anita, Diane, don s, Paulie g AND MANY OTHERS.

And some of the places that had a role in all of this:  Landmark Tavern, Village Barn, Rising Sun, Dr B’s, Left Bank, Other End, Chaplin’s, The Fives, CBGB, Snafu, ON THE ROX

We hope you will enjoy listening to some of our music and browsing through the pages of memories and flashbacks through the past we have assembled here.

It has been our extreme pleasure and privilege to have entertained all of you who have crossed our paths.
