starting in several unassuming locations somewhere in New York City- a cluttered garage,  a black light-poster decorated basement,  some furniture-rearranged living rooms. groups of undersized kids with oversized ambitions striving to imitate their newly sprouted idols from that enigmatic land across the Atlantic- the Beatles, Kinks, Stones, Animals and on and on as every new song release entrances them and spurs them on towards listening over and over to learn those chords, that guitar lick, those harmonies.

And eventually their paths crossed- sizing each other up from the darkened sidelines of a high school dance floor or the open windows of a Saturday afternoon rehearsal.  Then the inevitable merger- and the beginning of  decades of deep friendships, sudden breakups, the highs of creative collaboration, the lows of loss and petty disagreements- all culminating in the eventual formation of the band they were always meant to be- The Resistors.

Here, we will attempt to share the journey with all of our friends, fans, families, fellow musicians and anyone interested enough to eavesdrop into our still-ongoing conversation.  Hope you can share a piece of the fun- we certainly have had enough to go around…
